Apartamento Palatina I - rar.studio

Palatina, um palacete construído em meados do século XX, no centro de Lisboa, foi convertido em quatro apartamentos distintos, no início deste século.
O Apartamento Palatina I resulta de uma intervenção recente e acupunctural do rar.studio no piso nobre da mansão original, onde antes se situavam as áreas sociais. Através de operações contidas e pontuais, a arquitecta Rita Aguiar Rodrigues modernizou e reforçou a domesticidade do apartamento, conservando a sua estrutura e materiais de revestimento.

Palatina, a small palace built in the mid-20th century, in the centre of Lisbon, was converted into four distinct apartments, earlier this century.
The Apartment Palatina I is the result of a recent and acupunctural intervention by rar.studio on the main floor of the original mansion, former location of the social areas. Through restricted and occasional operations, the architect Rita Aguiar Rodrigues modernized and reinforced the domestic dimension of the apartment, while conserving its spatial structure and finishing materials.
